Does Chocolate Consumption Equate to Intelligence?

In a recent paper published by the New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Franz H. Messerli found, by various statistical analysis of existing data, that a clear correlation exists between a country’s per capita consumption of chocolate and the number of nobel prizes that have been awarded to citizens of that country. Though The New England Journal has been known to publish some less than purely academic work (that is still very entertaining), it seems that this paper may offer chocolate lovers the perfect excuse to keep consuming. Chocolate and Cognitive Function for the win!
