Way up in Canada

A new friend just pointed me to the McGill Food Systems Project. The McGill Food Systems Project directs student-led applied research, partnering with McGill Food and Dining Services and the McGill Office of Sustainability. They’re committed to understanding and educating about the industrial food supply chain. Here’s a neat video, made by one of the Project’s founders, that works to explain food’s journey to end up in the McGill dining halls — it nicely captures the challenges and opportunities present in a dining system that serves 4,000 meals a day.
