This Week: Food Chats with UHS Nutritionists

Do you have any pressing nutrition questions? Want to know how healthy tofu really is for you, or how many vegetables you really should be eating?

In the next few weeks, HUDS has asked University Health Services Nutritionists to make stops in dining halls and be available to ask any and all questions you might have. They will be tabling during dinner service in different dining halls and may be accompanied by Wellness Reps and FLP members, too.

They will also be talking about the Harvard School of Public Health’s “Healthy Eating Plate” nutrition plan. This visual guide was created through the collaboration of nutrition experts at the Harvard School of Public Health and Harvard Health Publications. The guide visually allows consumers to compare their plates to the guide in order to make healthy decisions regarding the proportions of food they eat each meal.
