Spring Roll Workshop

This past Saturday, two FLP representatives hosted a spring roll making workshop. Elan Nguyen, representative from Lowell, and Trisha Paul, representative from Winthrop, travelled to Chinatown to get the supplies necessary to teach a group of interested students how to make savory and sweet spring rolls.

On Saturday afternoon, approximately a dozen students trekked to Lowell small dining hall and learned how to make traditional shrimp or chicken spring rolls, as well as a dessert variety made with bananas, fudge, coconut, and nuts.

“We had a super enthusiastic and fun bunch, and I think everyone had a blast meeting each other, learning how to make this classic Asian dish, and bonding over our love for food” said Elan.
